Busy specialty medical office is looking for a receptionist/scheduler. We need a dependable, energetic, experienced, and polished professional with a good work ethic. EMR experience desired, superb customer service skills, time management and adaptability to constant change. Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and multi-task, excellent organizational skills and understanding of confidentiality. Must be able to maintain an efficient, smooth, professional and compassionate front desk. This clinic needs someone who can be a team player at all times.
Position Overview: Responsible for reception/scheduling duties
Essential Functions:
1. Answers/routes phone calls to appropriate department
2. Schedules patient appointments by entering/verifying/changing patient demographics or insurance coverage in the computer.
3. Checking patients in and out in a professional/courteous manner.
4. Receives payments/issues receipts and post into Advanced MD.
5. Obtaining referrals for patient appointments
6. Confirmation calls
7. Any other tasks assigned by supervisor

Education: High School graduate
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years recent experience in healthcare setting with a good understanding of medical insurance.
Successful completion of background check upon hire required.
Covid 19 vaccination required
This is a full time position. Monday-Thursday 7:30-5:00.
Pay dependent on experience. 90 day probation period
