Medical Scribe

What You Will Be Doing:

• Assist the Clinical Team in providing various patient care services that are essential for the day to day activities of the practice.
• Prepare examination rooms and room patients utilizing a patient first approach to care.
• Assist with minor procedures, apply and monitor dressings and bandages, remove sutures as required.
• Record all notes regarding patient interactions utilizing our EMR.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment to include ensuring all medical equipment is properly sterilized.
• Review and counsel patients on all prescriptions, procedures, and post-care requirements.
• Monitor and return all patient calls to answer any and all questions.
• Maintain all required certifications to include CPR and MA, at a minimum.
• Perform other duties as assigned with a patient first, team oriented mentality.

Required:

• High School Diploma

. At least 1 year of medical scribe experience

• Medical Assistant Certification
• CPR Certification
• Bilingual - Spanish preferred
