Job Description

Due to a recent retirement we are looking to adding to our staff. Keystone is a 126-bed treatment facility that is located just south of Sioux Falls on the South Dakota/Iowa border in the city of Canton, SD.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS AND HOURS;

  • Monday through Friday - 8 Hour Days

Essential Job Functions:

  • Supervises the Medical Records Department.
  • Serves as the Keystone Treatment Center HIPAA Officer and works closely with the Risk Manager.
  • Completes individual Annual Performance appraisals in Medical Records.
  • Review the individual Annual Performance Appraisals with each employee in the department.
  • Schedule Medical Records Department meetings as necessary.
  • Obtain the Needs Assessment annually.
  • Audit charts for completion.
  • Coordinate and compile the quarterly and year report package for the Corporate Office.
  • Check emails daily.

EDUCATION:

  • High school graduate with specialized training preferred.
  • Previous experience in the Health Information field.
