Job Description
We are a new family-owned practice in Goodyear and we are growing fast. We specialize in Men's Health and Hormone Therapy. Currently, we are also offering COVID-19 testing. Our goal is to find a candidate who is passionate about insurance. We are searching for someone that is a team player and who can step in and support the team when needed, as patient care is our priority! We have built a strong team that are truly enjoyable to work with and we want to find the right fit to support our team!
Common Job Duties
? Insurance eligibility verification prior to appointments, verify co-pay, co-insurance, and deductibles, obtain prior authorizations, and complete medical records requests
? Credentialing and Contracting with Insurance Companies
? Create portal accounts for all Insurance Companies
? Assisting with billing and submitting claims, work on denials/appeals/holds
? Schedule new and established patient appointments, register walk-in patients
? Checking-in patients
? Assist patients with portal registration and access. All lab results are provided through patient portal therefore it is mandatory to have this completed on all patients
? Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times
? Answer phones
? Updated phone greeting as needed for clinic changes/hours
? Check voicemails, marketing leads, follow up with all phone and patient portal messages in a timely fashion throughout the day
? Collect, process patient payments using Elavon and Square credit card devices
? Call online submission requests for potential patients to set up an appointment
? Manage cash drawer and check balance
? Track daily patient volume
? Keep front office forms and documents organized
? Prepare all forms in advance that are specific for different visit types
? Verify all scanned documents are correctly uploaded to patients’ chart
? Take pictures of patients for their EMR profile, update as necessary
? Clean/stock lobby and bathrooms. Maintain clean appearance throughout the clinic (sweep daily, mop floors weekly)
? Works independently and uses critical thinking skills to solve issues under pressure
? Communicates with all staff and medical provider in a respectful manner.
? Maintain professionalism at all times in front of patients, contractors, and vendors
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
