Medical Courier Driver

A leading medical delivery company has immediate need for delivery service providers (Drivers - Independent Contractors) with routes originating out of Hackensack, NJ.

HealthEx is looking for a dependable and professional Medical Courier Driver to deliver radiopharmaceuticals and medical supplies to hospitals/health systems within New Jersey and surrounding cities/states.

Please be advised that majority of our clients REQUIRE you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This may affect route assignments.

We are looking for full time drivers to help cover the following:

Monday-Friday

• Routes begin at 4:30am and can end as late as 5pm or as early as 1pm depending on routes for that day.
• Contractor must provide a trunk frame, straps, and sturdy dolly.
• Hazmat training will be provided.
• Must be able to life up to 100lbs.
• Must be comfortable driving to CT, RI, NY, PA, and surrounding areas.

Medical Courier Requirements/Qualifications:

• A valid driver license
• Able to obtain 300k bodily injury and 100k property damage insurance
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations or at fault accidents in the last three years
• Must be fluent in English
• The driving contract is available in the evenings
• 1099 Contractor delivery experience preferred, but not required
• Requires sharp attention to detail and a strong ability to keep a schedule
• Drivers must have a reliable vehicle - A full size motor vehicle is sufficient. No vans or trucks required.
• Dependable and reliable track record
• Must be willing and able to drive in inclement weather (i.e. snow, ice, rain, wind)
• GPS knowledgeable
• Android or Apple based cell phone
• Collecting electronic proof of delivery at every stop (POD'S)
  

Medical Courier Perks & Pay:

• Pays range $150-$300 per day (depends on how far your routes travel).
