Medical Assistant/CSR Espanola Family Care Clinic

The Espanola Family Care Clinic is an offsite Physician Practice Clinic located in the beautiful Espanola Valley in New Mexico. It is a family oriented clinic devoted to patient centered care. This position provides a great opportunity to begin a career in Healthcare.

Under the supervision of physician or nurse, This Physician Practices position assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.

Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given.

Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas.

Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent required

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) must obtain within 90 days of hire

New hires will have ninety (90) days from date of hire to obtain American Heart Association
certifications. Notwithstanding this ‘grace period’ for obtaining American Heart Association
certifications, employees are not excused from being current in any and all existing certifications
that are required for their position as outlined in the position job description.
