Position Summary
Perform clinical support services, assist with secretarial/clerical duties and maintain patient care documentation in medical records.
Minimum Requirements
HS graduate or equivalent required. One to two years of formal medical assistant or nurse aide training preferred.
Preferred Certified Medical Assistant.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider status is required upon hire.
Substitution: Formal medical assistant or nursing aide training may be substituted with six months current full time experience in the clinical setting as a Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or CNA.
Requires at least three months of relative work experience. Working knowledge of equipment utilization, maintenance and safety.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Preferred Phlebotomy Experience.
Preferred Health and Wellness Experience
Other Information
Full-Time - 40 hours per week. Hours will vary between 7:30am-6:30pm - occasional evenings may be required.
