• This position is eligible for a $1,000.00 sign-on bonus with a one year commitment to Mission Health. Sign-on bonus will be paid out in two increments: $500 upon hire; $500 after six months of employment!!

Responsible for direct patient care and the assisting of the physician or mid-level practitioner.

Required Experience: Candidates/incumbents with one year of Medical Assistant work experience who do not possess Medical Assistant Certification must obtain Medical Assistant Certification within one year of hire date.

Preferred Experience: One year of Medical Assisting or other applicable clinical work experience is highly preferred.

Required Certification/License: Medical Assistant Certification - required. Medical Assistants who recently graduated (within the last 12 months) from a Medical Assisting training program must obtain Medical Assistant certification within 60 days of employment.

Preferred Certification/License: Active and unrevoked RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification/ABR-OE credentials is highly preferred.
