Requirements:
As a Medical Administrative Coordinator, you will handle all routine administrative matters to support the office flow in our busy agency. We are looking for an extremely organized, detail-orientated Administrative Support Specialist who would work directly with different departments.
The ideal candidate needs to be detail-oriented, accuracy driven, self-starter, a multitasker, patient, with a friendly disposition, and ability to get projects done on time on a weekly basis. Minimum 2 years of office experience. Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a wide range of patients, colleagues, and vendors. Superior customer service and relationship building skills. Excellent problem solving and organizational skills. Telephone and computer literacy is mandatory.
In that role, you will
- Answer telephone inquiries and channel them appropriately.
- Maintain files, supplies, postage, and general office condition in an orderly manner
- Handle all correspondence and word processing within the organization
- Send physician's orders for signature as needed, keeping a current log of what has been sent and tracking receipt of signed documents
Who You Are:
- Minimum of two (2) years of administrative assistant experience
- (1) year of healthcare experience preferred
- Able to type 50 words per minute
- Excellent computer and keyboarding skills
- Adept in Technology- you must be proficient in Microsoft office, adobe, and able to learn our software
- Extremely good time management skills- your time will be stretched across several departments
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills- one of the most important parts of this job is being able to communicate with multiple people and run multiple projects
- Highly organized- not only are strong organization skills needed to keep yourself organized but you will be responsible to support other departments, and ensuring they are making deadlines and keeping on track.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
