JOB SUMMARY - Media Research & Analytics Manager:

Lightbox is looking for a Research/Analytics whiz to help support the brand story with insightful research and data. Whether it’s pulling syndicated research to strengthen Ad Sales pitches, or designing custom studies that demonstrate advertisers’ ROI, you will apply your stellar strategic and analytical skills to help convince brands of our value proposition.

You’ll be reporting directly into the VP of Research & Intelligence as a member of the Marketing team. You’ll be the research go-to for day-to-day Sales, Marketing and vendor partners, and in partnership with the VP, be part of a critical team responsible for driving company growth through research and analytics. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Media Research & Analytics Manager:

  • Support and manage day-to-day research Sales requests and projects to craft compelling, data-driven insights and stories through syndicated and/or custom research
  • Manage custom research studies/projects, such as (but not limited to) advertising effectiveness/brand lift studies to prove the value of Lightbox from start to finish (i.e. from study design/setup, questionnaire development, data quality checks to assisting VP Research in reporting)
  • Proactively maintain and assist VP Research in improving intelligence and efficiency of research department through keeping abreast of industry and consumer landscapes, omni-channel & cross media POVs and upkeep of internal templates, databases and resources
  • Support VP Research in developing custom and syndicated measurement (i.e. Comscore, Geopath), media & creative best practices and norms for the organization
  • Assist VP with research tasks or projects as needed to support overall company goals/strategy

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS - Media Research & Analytics Manager:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-4+ years of research experience working in the media or relevant field (Digital or TV advertising/media agency, D/OOH media, publisher, location data/data tech/data science, etc.)
  • Profoundly well-organized with ability to multi-task, be independent and self-resourceful, but also a team player and collaborator
  • Knowledge/experience in syndicated research resources and research/analytics and planning tools such as MRI/Simmons, Scarborough, Comscore, Geopath, Kantar Ad Insights, Nielsen Ad Intel, Nielsen Media Impact, eMarketer, Statista, Telmar, Nielsen Prime Lingo, MarketSight, Tableau
  • Knowledge/experience with custom/primary research and methodologies
  • Experience with running Brand Lift/Ad Effect studies a plus
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, data savviness, comfortable with large data sets, detail-oriented, resourceful, proactive, multi-tasker, curious and passionate
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
