Mechanical Designer/Drafter

Specifics of our Mechanical Designer role include:

· Prepare shop drawings for aluminum curtain wall, storefront, skylight, & panel systems utilizing AutoCAD.

· Shop drawings include plans, elevations, sections & detail drawings developed from project design documents and specifications.

· Shop drawings will be used by project management & field personnel to successfully compete the project.

· Use shop drawings to prepare fabrication drawings for the specific project.

· Fabrication drawings include, part, assembly, & operation drawings. As well as material take-offs, part lists, & process instructions.

· Fabrication drawings will be used by factory for manufacturing & assembly for successful field installation.

· If you have strong AutoCAD experience along with good carpentry/cabinetry skills, we would absolutely like to talk with you as well!

Requirements:

· Working knowledge of AutoCAD drafting software is mandatory. Revit & Inventor experience also a plus. MultiCam & FomCam experience also a plus.

· Capability to produce accurate & thorough work, with special attention to problem areas.

· Associates or Bachelor of Arts Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or related discipline.

· Strong work history & references on past positions held. Construction / Manufacturing experience a plus.

· Ability to communicate effectively with and work within a team environment.

· Strong time management habits and ability to remain focused on extended tasks.

· Self-motivator, proactive, & willing to take on new challenges.

Pay will be based on experience: (plus a bonus potential)
