POSITION: Mathematics Peer Coach - Elementary (Grant Funded Position)
LOCATION: District Wide; Elementary Schools
STARTING: 2021-2022 School Year
SALARY: $40,884-$82,254 Teacher Bargaining Unit salary and benefits
QUALIFICATIONS:
Teaching applicants must be NH certified in Elementary Education with a minimum of three years of successful K-6 classroom teaching experience. Sucessful experience in facilitating adult learners. Knowledge of Elementary School curriculum and instruction is required,especially Mathematics.
SUMMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Nashua School District is seeking a Mathematics coach for Nashua Elementary Schools. The successful candidate will have instructional leadership skills, a deep understanding of research and evidence based practices for mathematics implementation with the elementary curriculum, experience as a coach or mentor, ability to determine and implement best practices for assessing student achievement, experience developing curriculum using technology and ability to demonstrate instructional leadership through professional development. Candidates must have strong interpersonal and leadership skills to promote increased teacher knowledge and student achievement, to maintain high visibility and active involvement in school relationships, to implement elementary school goals, objectives and philosophies.
