Your profile
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent year of experience (8+ years).
- 3-8 years’ experience in professional setting in with material planning/ production control experience, with 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and materials management
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Analytical, numerically astute with strong proven problem-solving abilities.
- Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
- Computer literate, to include solid to advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfer
Your responsibilities
- Work within Material Planning group to resolve issues, update material schedules and ensure supporting MRP systems reflect forecast and demand for products
- Maintain production schedule utilizing MRP systems
- Analyze, maintain, and update MRP data for new and changed materials
- Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements
- Deliver briefs, updates, and reports as required.
- Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships
- Develop creative and innovative material processes
