Delta Faucet is expanding the Extrusion Department on Third shift. Work hours are 11pm-7am. Pay range is $16.50-$17.75/hour and team mates are benefits & bonus eligible within 60 days from hire.

The Production Member for Extrusion has two primary responsibilities, processing trim scrap into regrind and handling finished sheet at the end of the line. They transport items using the forklift. This person works independently and must be responsible for the appropriate volume of work. They report through the Team Lead in Extrusion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)

  • Drive the forklift into production areas to collect process scrap, unload items in the shredder room, process as regrind, weigh, label and transact the regrind and move it to the next processing area.
  • Collect pallets of plastic sheets from the end of the line, weigh, label and band for transport. Move sheet packs to the sheet supermarket or shipping and complete the inventory transactions using hand-held scanner.
  • Maintain the shredder room following 5S standards.
  • Complete daily tasks and inspections check list
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Education and Experience/Skills:

  • Ability to operate the forklift in a safe manner and gain certification within 3 business days
  • Previous experience in a production environment
  • High School graduate or GED preferred

Must be able to:

  • Work independently, make decisions, and communicate with others
  • Lift, bend and reach, including below waist level and above shoulder level
  • Stand for periods of up to 8 hours, walking frequently
  • Climb on and off of the forklift continuously throughout the work day
  • Lift, push and pull weights of up to 60lbs. occasionally (change out propane tank)
  • Use hands to manipulate parts and machine controls
  • Use vision to read labels and inventory sheets

** This is a high sound exposure / decibel area and secondary hearing protection is required while operating the grinder. **
