Job Description
SIGN ON BONUS:

The first payment of $300 will be paid within 2 weeks of your start date and a second payment of $700 will be paid within two weeks of completing 90 days of work with the Company.

SCHEDULE:

1st Shift Hours:

Monday-Saturday 4:00am to 2:30pm with a starting rate of $17.31 per hour.

2nd Shift Hours:

Monday-Saturday 2:30pm - 1:00am with starting rate $17.31 per hour plus a 6% shift differential.

3rd shift Hours:

Sunday night - Friday night (ending Saturday morning) 9:45pm-6:15am with a starting rate of $17.31 per hour plus a 10% shift differential

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

RESPONSIBLITIES and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and operates a forklift.

Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

Overtime is an essential function of this position which typically requires 20 hours of overtime/week. Actual overtime hours may vary

SKILLS:

  • Uses standard documentation and SAP for materials administration, shipping, receiving, picking and delivering parts. Assignments and process are semi routine in nature.

  • Operates Powered Industrial Vehicles to load, unload and transfer materials/finished product.

  • Reads, follows, and executes tasks per sequence defined by electronic or hardcopy instructions.

  • Use tools and equipment including: hammers, cutters for wood, cardboard and plastics, fork lifts and other motorized equipment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma/GED OR 1 year of related work experience.

  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

  • This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for positions, levels, and compensation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year of related experience

  • Fork lift License (within 90 days)
