Job Description

- Master's Level Sexual Assault Response Team Coordinator

The Master's Level Sexual Assault Response Team Coordinator engages and develops SART teams (collaboration between various community agencies, law enforcement, etc. in a victim centered team approach) in identified counties and works to ensure that the mission of the program is maintained. Collaborates closely with law enforcement agencies and district attorney offices to collaborate regarding cases. Answers crisis hotline calls and participates in the after-hours on-call rotation as needed. Completes all necessary documentation in accordance with funding guidelines and policy and procedures. Assists with reports, data tracking, and case presentations for SART meetings. Provides outreach to the community through involvement in various coalition and community meetings. Provides professional trainings to law enforcement and other SART members and professionals.

This position requires utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to conduct Center business. Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment.

REQUIREMENTS - Master's Level Sexual Assault Response Team Coordinator

Education/Knowledge: Must have a Master's degree and basic knowledge in health-related field of counseling, psychology, social work, criminal justice, sociology, or a behavioral science field with course work or experience in the areas of cultural diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of mental illness, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, suicide, crisis intervention, and developmental / intellectual disabilities.

Experience: A minimum of two years of clinical experience with prior experience in specialized interventions in sexual abuse is preferred.

Applicants should possess the ability to relate to individuals and families of varied ethnic and cultural backgrounds, ages, educational levels, and economic circumstances with respect and dignity. Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills are necessary in order to work effectively and collaboratively with clients, collaborating agencies, and community professionals, as well as maintaining proper documentation.

Physical: Exposure to biological hazards. Hearing of normal and soft tones as well as close eye work. Valid driver's license. Lifting up to 50 lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 150 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.

Compensation: Starting salary for this position is approximately $37,717 /yr based on relevant experience and education.
