The Audit & Assurance Marketplace Intelligence group (Marketplace Intelligence) is a small team within Deloitte's Audit practice responsible for creating cutting-edge web-based applications and actionable market intelligence for our audit practitioners and leadership. The team consists of highly skilled UI designers, researchers, data analysts and developers. The work we do is agile, exciting and is a valued contribution to our audit practice. Our work is critical to support leadership strategic decision-making and enable excellent client service and growth of our Audit and Assurance practice.
The Marketplace Intelligence team is looking for an experienced "Analytics & Data Quality Manager".
The Analytics & Data Quality Manager will interact regularly with our technical teams, researchers, analytics professionals, external third-party data providers, and audit business leaders. He or she will be involved end-to-end from the acquisition of data to the effective use of data within web-based applications and within data analyses prepared for the audit practice.

- Actively drive the creation of insightful analyses to help inform audit leadership decision making.
- Review the presentation of data in audit market intelligence applications and from an auditor's/ business perspective, make recommendations for changes/improvements.
- Manage/perform testing and review to ensure completeness and accuracy of data content presented in analyses and applications.
- Create data queries to extract data needed for detailed analysis.
- Utilize advanced analytics visualization tools to create dashboards/storyboards and value-added insights for audit leadership.
- Support data strategies and methodology, considering the information lifecycle as well as Deloitte-specific architectures, policies, practices, and procedures.
- Meet directly with third-party data providers
- Collaborate effectively with researchers, developers, designers, and other analysts on the Marketplace Intelligence team. May meet directly with audit leadership to understand business needs and present work deliverables.
- Improve data quality through organizational, procedural and/or technological means
- Develop and implement new processes to ensure ongoing data quality, accuracy and completeness in audit market intelligence applications and analyses.
- Participate in new application development projects. Help define business rules that determine the display of data in our websites, assist the product owner in writing test scripts that validates business rules, and performs detailed and rigorous testing to ensure data quality. Active contributor to project teams.
- Develop a deep understanding of the applications and reports/analyses in the Marketplace Intelligence portfolio and the data contained within these applications/reports.
- Assist in the assessment of acquiring new data sources. Provides input on and advocates for future initiatives/projects/tools.
- Demonstrate project management skills in taking lead role on key analytic services initiatives.
- Build stakeholder trust and confidence through being responsive, and delivering work that is accurate, complete, and reliable.
- Comply with internal Deloitte policies, technology controls, governance, and risk.
- Review work for quality, completeness, and accuracy.

Required Qualifications
- Degree and/or experience with Auditing or Accounting data is required
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Audit background and understanding of Audit related data
- Experience with advanced analytics and data query tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Python, PowerBI, etc.)
- Ability to perform extensive data analysis (comparing multiple datasets) using a variety of techniques, visualizations, and tools - to uncover patterns, predictions, or insights
- Strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to employ critical thinking, objective analysis, and evaluation of an issue to form a judgment/opinion/recommendation
- Ability to drive continuous data management quality (i.e., completeness, accuracy) through defined and governed principles
- Ability to identify and mitigate data quality issues effectively

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in a related discipline such as Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, or Accounting.
- Degree and/or experience with Auditing or Accounting data is required
- Experience in data management & data governance
- Experience with using advanced analytics data query tools (e.g., Tableau, Python, SQL, Alteryx)
