Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) provides financial services to 21 million retail bank households and three million small business customers through approximately 4,900 retail branches, 17 customer service centers, and approximately 13,000 ATMs in 36 states and the District of Columbia. Consumer Data and Engagement Platforms (CDEP) works across the CSBB, Consumer Lending, and Wealth and Investment Management lines of business to develop coordinated strategies for growth in each of Wells Fargo’s customer segments. The team is responsible for designing seamless, engaging customer experiences across products and channels, and building the next-generation digital, data and analytics, and functional capabilities required to deliver toward these objectives.

The Marketing Program Manager 2 (MPM2) sits within the center of the marketing channels team and plays a key role in the design support and implementation of marketing processes that enable the successful delivery of marketing campaigns.

This role will report into the On Us Campaign Project Management Team and will be a leading participant in the design, development and implementation of new channel processes, procedures and routines in support of a variety initiatives tied to capabilities, transformation, platform enhancement projects within the Digital On Us Channel.

The MPM2 will engage closely with Channel Optimization, Innovation, Creative, Technology, Risk and Execution partners to assess situational needs and design processes and controls in support of those requirements. This role requires the ability to proactively connect dots, identity obstacles and determine solutions and/or resolutions to internal and external barriers with an emphasis on efficiency and risk mitigation.


In addition to support of critical project work, the MPM2 role will also support digital on US campaign work within the channel. A successful candidate will be expected to have in-depth understanding of the end-to-end marketing processes and will be a forward-thinking leader with the ability to influence and build alignment across a large matrix organization by providing guidance and insight as needed to foster a collaborative environment. MPM2 candidates must have strong oral, written and communication skills. Strength and success in relationship building is a critical requirement for the role.


Responsibilities include:

  • Effectively interface with Channel Optimization, Innovation, Creative, Technology, Risk and Execution partners to design, develop and implement new channel processes, procedures and routines in support of a variety initiatives tied to capabilities, transformation, platform enhancement projects
  • Proactively identify process risks and gaps. Provide guidance and identify potential solutions in order to avoid campaign delays
  • Develop strong partnerships with project teams, use relationships to help influence decision making and build alignment across teams
  • Leverage business partner relationships to identify, recommend and implement ongoing process improvements for planning, prioritization, creative development and execution
  • Lead implementation efforts for new processes and procedures; ensure team member adherence to new processes and procedures
  • Manage and coordinate communication activities for project. Build communication strategy, develop supporting training documentation and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to all SLAs, processes and guidelines across the end-to-end execution process, as well as develop & maintain support tools and provide guidance to various business partners
  • Support campaign work through standard digital on us process

Salary range is determined by the location of the job

Required Qualifications


  • 6+ years of marketing experience


Desired Qualifications


  • Process design or improvement experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
  • Ability to identify risk factors and ensure enactment of appropriate controls
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Digital marketing campaign experience
  • Process efficiency experience, including process assessment and recommendations for improvement
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently


Other Desired Qualifications

  • Experience developing and coordinating execution of program communications, processes and training materials
  • Experience with project management/CRM tools such as (IBM IMO, Aprimo)
