Position Overview

Few social missions more pressing than expanding access to mental healthcare. Emblematic of its resolve in this regard, Lorenz Clinic announces a unique, access-focused position available on the provider side of healthcare. As the Marketing & Outreach Coordinator, you are in an essential role to the overall equity efforts and business development plan of the clinic. You are responsible for executing on and evaluating an existing, data-driven outreach strategy focused on increasing access to mental health services.

The position is a blend of healthcare marketing and healthcare services outreach. In this role, you will be responsible for driving demand, acquisition, growth and retention for a system of mental health clinics offering integrated levels of mental healthcare. The ideal candidate will have experience successfully acquiring customers through various marketing channels and understand the digital marketing tools and processes required to do so. In a large, mission-driven organization where each department and role has its own key performance indicators, this role will be uniquely responsible for prioritizing program reach, utilization, and growth above all other metrics.

This role will work closely with the health system’s founder, various program members, and other key stakeholders to understand the clinic’s services and use analytical, creative and cost-effective methods to grow Lorenz Clinic’s impact.

Job Duties
  • Marketing
    • Contributes to the refinement of the Clinic’s existing marketing strategy using personas, customer insights, business strategies and competitive research to frame our marketing roadmap
    • Influences development of multi-channel growth strategy and dashboards as necessary to deliver on the goals of increasing demand, awareness, consideration and conversions
    • Works cross-functionally to share marketing plans in order to gain buy-in and facilitate collaboration between teams
    • Measures, analyzes and reports performance to all levels of the organization
    • Develops and maintains marketing and outreach processes to ensure effective and efficient execution of marketing and outreach activities
    • Provides leadership and facilitates learning and improvement across all marketing channels and outreach efforts
    • Ensures compliance to organizational and departmental policies and procedures in all work
    • Contributes strategy regarding geographical positioning and service menu cultivation to the clinic’s development plan
    • Develop and manage KPIs (and dashboards) around acquisition, conversion, and retention for the leadership team
    • Devise, test and implement all growth campaigns
    • Coordinate marketing messages for landing pages, ads (including video), and product features
    • Coordinate the building and management of content that attracts relevant audiences by creating content that meets the needs of defined audiences throughout each phase of their journey.
    • Identify and implement new business opportunities and sales growth strategies for targeted segments and accounts
    • Research, prospect and qualify potential referral sources; analyze and interpret customer needs to develop compelling value proposition
    • Coordinate powerful public relations presentations that effectively demonstrate Lorenz Clinic’s services and programs too potential referral sources, clients, and other decision-makers
    • Contribute to efforts to research and develop robust pipeline to continuously grow segment and business
    • Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team, clinical leaders, and operations to continue to propose new service lines or improvements
    • Stay up-to-date with segment, industry, and competition trends
    • Develop long-term relationships with internal and external referral sources to maintain market position as the best clinic to refer to
    • Coordinate the lifecycle of service marketing materials
    • Coordinate new program/service line studies for new and redesigned services, programs, or business units. Launch and promote programs and service lines.
    • Research competitor services, programs, products, pricing, and strategies
    • Contribute to group efforts to product development requirements through creation of market studies, sales feedback and customer feedback
    • Constantly evaluate all aspects of our competition and compare to the company’s strength and weaknesses
    • Report feedback on competitor’s information, new and service line extensions and execute promotions
    • Develop and coordinate service and program training for internal and external customers and partners
    • Use competitor knowledge and industry trends to develop strategic marketing direction for the business
    • Contributes to an adaptive marketing culture that is able to rapidly experiment with different marketing tactics, social media platforms, landing page layouts, and content to find innovative and low cost ways to cause growth
    • Create and maintain sales forecasts.
  • Community Engagement
    • Organizes expert presentations and other outreach activities that impact brand
    • Prepare, organize, and disseminate nuanced print, video, and social media content that grows following
    • Contributes to efforts to continually improve brand strategy
    • Create market message and program presence for training and industry product shows and outreach activities
    • Attend trade shows, rep product shows and conduct sales calls on channel partners and customers, looking for feedback relative to delivery, location, pricing, level, quality and breadth of product offerings
    • Participate actively in industry related associations, committees, or advisory boards
  • Customer Care
    • Maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program and a high level of customer engagement and follow-up through ongoing communication and customer visits
    • Regularly has ongoing strategic conversations around top customer service needs and provides value-added insights.
    • Coaches others to all aspects of the sales cycle including the development of the customer relationship
    • Improves client retention across the enterprise
    • Institute a continuous improvement plan regarding customer experience ratings
    • Coordinate customer experience program to ensure ongoing success and client retention
    • Partner with leadership team to share and infuse Voice of Customer (VOC) into improvement projects
    • Coordinate mission and customer experience trainings at enterprise level
    • Manage a response program to ensure issues negatively impacting the customer experience are communicated quickly and effectively by the most appropriate party
    • Lead customer and consumer journey mapping efforts and educating all parties on the pieces of the journey we can leverage for an improved experience.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Work, Psychology, or similar field
  • At least 1 year experience in managing demand-generating marketing programs, outreach initiatives, or mental health case management
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively across product team members, preferably in an agile environment using scrum-centric empiricism
  • Experience and results with building social channels like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
  • Experience and results with building and optimizing a customer retention strategy and program
  • An evidenced history of making data-driven decisions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Marketing experience in healthcare or hospitality/service industries
  • Experience networking within the mental health or early educational systems
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry from a customer or provider perspective
  • Experience and results with Google Analytics another tracking tool (preferred)
  • Experience and results using CRM and data management software including Salesforce, Tableau, and Qualtrics (preferred)
  • Project management skills, certification, or experience
  • Strong ethical and moral character references
  • Experience and results with designing and running a growth experiment cycle
  • Experience and results with A/B testing tools like Optimizely, Omniconvert, or other
  • Experience and results with creating and optimizing Google Ads campaigns
  • Experience and results with visual analytics tools to understand users behavior on websites (e.g., Crazy Egg, EyeQuant, etc.)
  • Language skills adequate for high?level written, interpersonal, and telephone communication in American English
