Job Description

The Marketing Events Coordinator is part of the Corporate Marketing team reporting to the Director of Events. The Marketing Events Coordinator is responsible for the project management and execution of E2open’s internal meetings and events. The Events team is responsible for conferences, events and meetings designed for E2open employees, customer executives, alliance partners, prospects, customers and industry analysts. These events provide the opportunity to educate and empower attendees, inspire the audience, strengthen the E2open brand and generate leads.

Position Description:

Requires a high energy, motivated, team player who has a passion for creating unparalleled experiences for customers, prospects, partners and executives at events. As Marketing Events Coordinator, you will be assisting with the event experience, both industry and corporate events, from planning, content messaging, to show floor experience, project management and all facets of running an event. You will work with key stakeholders across the organization to help create an impactful experience across every aspect of an event to drive awareness, customer and prospect engagement, lead gen and results.


Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Events team and other departments to build E2open event strategy and assist in running all internal and external events.
  • Bring best practices to each event, building from experience across one event to the next.
  • Act as the point person on the event website information and ensure SharePoint is up to date for the overall event calendar.
  • Work closely with Director of Events to understand budget needs, help manage budget and finalize reconciliation for events.
  • Run registration, attendance and tracking of Event attendees for Leaders Forum, SKO and other internally run events.
  • Assist with partner engagement plans, involvement, registration, and logistics to provide a valuable pre-event and onsite experience for all.
  • Distribute effective attendee communications and ensure on-time delivery and tracking of pertinent information.
  • Ensure brand, message and content alignment across all aspects of an event.
  • Assist with the signage process for the event ensuring complete and thorough signage deliverables with the internal creative team and outside print agency while keeping within the budget provided.
  • Project manage events by creating timelines with deliverable and owners for every event.
  • Assist to drive utilization of project timelines to help keep team(s) on schedule.
  • Continuously update project timelines and tracking spreadsheets.
  • Ensure that we understand our internal client needs as it relates to giveaways or merchandise for the event and ensure that we are providing the best options while remaining within the budget provided.
  • Own Guidebook app (or similar) and survey management and work within team to continuously improve survey build to collect strategic data.
  • Work with Marketing Operations Specialist to continuously review event metrics to learn what’s successful, what isn’t and what actions to take.
  • Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, venue research; contract negotiation; budget adherance; expense tracking; staffing assignments; food and beverage coordination; registration services; team communication; website coordination; speaker and analyst VIP travel; event logistics; branded merchandise; and vendor coordination.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Marketing or Business preferred.
  • 2 years of event management experience including corporate events.
  • Experience with B2B software companies, Supply Chain a plus.
  • Must be detail-oriented, independent and able to successfully manage multiple, concurrent project demands within established timelines.
  • Positive and consistent customer service orientation. Professional interpersonal skills for a spectrum of stakeholders including C-Suite members.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing stakeholders – external and internal (executives, vendors, agencies, etc.)
  • Ability to work, at times, in a stressful and demanding environment with time sensitive deadlines.
  • Excellent project management, verbal and written communications skills.
  • Energetic and motivated to think creatively, deliver new kinds of experiences and help to drive results
