Job Description

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A VIRTUAL POSITION. Our team works remotely all over the world and there is no relocation necessary. If hired you’ll be working with a global team. We're currently recruiting for a staff member that can work USA west coast PST time zone hours. You can live and work from anywhere you want (as many of our staff do!), but this schedule most allows for success in the role with our global team. Product and content marketing is at the center

To continue our pursuit of simplifying growth for fitness business owners around the world, the Marketing Director plays a vital role in creating awareness and positioning our content to help fit pros and studio/gym owners break out of their default trendline. A default trend that is keeping them from building the life they want and doing what they love most. This role will be primarily responsible for leading the team that will find fit pros and studio/gym owners to join our list and ultimately inspire them to engage in conversations with our sales team.


We are a ‘product focused’ marketing team. In fact, our marketing team shares resources with our product team in development of training and education resources, software tools, and more to solve big problems for our industry. Our marketing philosophy is very much centered around product education and demand gen. Monetization happens further down the line. We have proven systems, tools, and coaching programs to help the fitness industry grow, you need to help us reach more of them.

“What will I be doing?”


Increase # Leads & # Prospects (traffic and conversion expert) including:

  • Plan, build, and optimize demand generation campaigns to grow our audience
  • Generate leads and sales for entry level offers via e-commerce channel
  • Nurture and support driving qualified prospects to engage with our sales team


Manage the marketing team- Lead, manage, and develop internal team members, contractors, and vendors to hit KPIs in a remote environment.


Manage Content & SEO strategy- Manage editorial calendar across all platforms (short form and long form content)


Manage Creative (copy, design, branding) including:

  • Website copy
  • Landing pages
  • Social media content
  • VSLs
  • Emails
  • Ads


Manage projects- Plan and manage Kanban and agile management project boards in CoSchedule. QA and sign off on all major projects executed by the marketing team.


Manage Process- update, refine, and build SOPs for team to execute efficiently

  • Work in concert with the CEO and other members of the leadership team to set strategy that meets company objectives.
  • Direct the execution of marketing campaigns that drive leads and involve everything from content marketing to paid traffic and email marketing.
  • Direct team members, VA’s and Contractors to ensure deadlines are met and within budget for projects and major initiatives.


Marketing Ops Support

  • Support tech, execution, with team where needed
  • Ensure everything that goes out the door is QA'd and 100% accurate

“Things you’ve done in the past”

  • Planned and executed successful lead generation campaigns using both organic and paid sources of website traffic.
  • Successfully grown and managed a digital marketing team.
  • Worked in concert with a sales team to drive consultative sales appointments. (This one isn’t a must but is absolutely a bonus.)
