Viburnum Designs is seeking a Marketing Coordinator/Copy writer to join our team as we continue to grow our business across all platforms and focus on increasing our online business. Viburnum Designs is an upscale florist, plant boutique and also has a large selection of home decor accents and gifts with retail stores in Princeton and Summit, NJ.
- Primary copywriter and develop content, including writing product descriptions, website copy, sales tools, and other projects.
- Play a role in management of all social media channels. Conceptualize and write creative content, source photography, correspond with followers, and analyze social media data daily
- First and foremost, this person will work closely with the CEO to develop smart, engaging content for Viburnum Designs social media channels and email marketing campaigns. We’re looking for a storyteller; someone with a natural eye for design and a way with words. We want someone who understands the social media landscape and knows how to curate a feed that commands attention and captures imaginations.
- Making sure the websites are current every season with the current curated collection
- Gather, manipulate, and produce daily/weekly/monthly reports and analysis for marketing performance and all areas of the business.
- Offer general administrative support, and assisting with special projects and additional assignments as business needs require

Candidate Attributes:
- Exemplary written and copywriting skills are required.
- 1-2+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on content creation and social media.
- Photography skills required
- Proficient understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, InDesign, & Illustrator). Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Powerpoint.
- Expert in social media channels, including Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities simultaneously.
- Must be flexible and have the ability to resolve issues independently in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment, coupled with ability to take direction as needed.
- Strong communication skills are essential. Clear ability to explain the thought process behind photographs and created content to direct managers, as well as senior management.

Pay: $38,531.00 - $55,000.00 per year
