Job Description

Onsite retailer specializing in quilting and crafting supplies is seeking a full-time, onsite Marketing Coordinator & Project Manager. This individual will lead and coordinate workflow for a creative team of pattern writers, photographers, social media & video specialist. They must thrive in an expanding, fast-paced environment.

PURPOSE OF JOB:

  • Coordinate workflow and assign tasks for projects, events and campaigns
  • Supervise and provide guidance to the Marketing department in supporting day to day operations
  • Help implement goals, strategies and vision of company executives

JOB DUTIES:

  • Ensure various projects and tasks are complete, accurate and on time
  • Implement consistent work processes, standards and procedures
  • Coordinate a social media calendar and collaborate with team members and content creators to support campaigns
  • Develop detailed project schedules and goals for product releases and other campaigns
  • Assign tasks and deadlines to team members
  • Oversee daily workflow of the department
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for specific marketing efforts
  • Understand essential details of assets for other departments to develop templates and standards
  • Coordinate with other department heads to discover roadblocks and find solutions
  • Help develop and manage a reporting infrastructure to measure marketing performance
  • Help implement and execute strategies, guidelines and project changes as needed
  • Special projects as assigned

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • Highly detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and assign tasks appropriately
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with a marketing team, project management tools and software
  • Understanding of retail marketing with a focus on e-commerce preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Knowledge of quilting, sewing or crafting a bonus

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree required
  • 3 years of project management experience including coordination experience within a marketing environment
  • 2 years of experience with social media tools & platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, related third-party software
  • Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office programs
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug test
