Position Summary:
Marketing Coordinator will focus on comprehensive marketing and communication strategies through a variety of avenues aimed at brand recognition and increasing occupancy for the EKU residential community.
Minimum Education:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Public Relations, English, or a related field.
Minimum Experience:
Three years experience in online and offline marketing, advertising, or related field is required.
Minimum Licensure and Certification:

Necessary Skills & Experience:
Work with various departments on strategic marketing plans to order promotional items through the appropriate resources.
Ability to maintain cross-campus partnerships to ensure accurate and consistent HRL information.
With the Leadership Team, develop revenue-generating marketing campaigns for HRL.
Experience in website Content Management Systems
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop & InDesign
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
Experience in Social Media Management (Accounts on various mediums)
Public Speaking Skills
Event Planning Skills and Experience
Strong Communications Skills
Experience in front-line recruitment
Experience in comprehensive marketing campaign planning and execution
Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects
Strong content development (writing, video presence, etc.)
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Photography
Graphic Design (Adobe Illustrator)
Experience in Adobe Lightroom or other photo editing software
Video compilation and editing experience
Job Functions:
Develop, implement, and lead marketing campaigns to increase brand recognition, meet occupancy goals, and retain current students.
Plan, implement, and manage the Housing and Residence Life communication strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure clear, consistent communication to all audiences.
Participate in the planning, content creation, and presentation at a variety of events especially including Enrollment Management events, website management and social media posts.
Build effective relationships, report on activity/results, and complete all other duties assigned by the Director and Associate Director.
