JOB SUMMARY: The Marketing Coordinator supports the Director of Marketing and is responsible for general marketing/project support for GICO’s overall marketing & Mission initiatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Marketing Coordinators complete all tasks that support the Communication Director and the GICO’s overall marketing initiatives.
- Facilitate building and enhancing the Goodwill brand and mission through public awareness and various social media channels.
- Create and oversee the day-to day management of social media content.
- Assist with Communication Director with planning and managing events, both internal and external.
- Maintain and build inventory of internal marking support materials such as flyers, signs etc.
- Create promotional materials, managing web content, and sales support materials.
- Create and produce the internal corporate newsletter.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or related field,
- 1-2 years’ experience required.
- Excellent and proven writing abilities
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
- Experience with graphic design and or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with video editing preferred.
- Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and Car Insurance Verification, required.
- Must maintain a good driving record and pass MVR check.
- Must pass background check as well as drug screening.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:
- Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds, or more with assistance.
- Some work sites require long periods of walking and standing.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work in climate-controlled atmosphere majority of the time.
- Requires some local travel providing own transportation.
