Marketing Communications Specialist

Roto North America is a subsidiary of Roto Window and Door Technology, a global leader in window and door hardware, with 15 production plants and more than 30 subsidiaries worldwide. Through its two companies, Roto Frank of America, Inc. and Roto Fasco Canada, Inc., Roto North America has been manufacturing and offering a variety of leading North American and European window and door hardware products in the USA and Canada.

We are currently seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to support our sales team in Chester, CT.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support promotional and marketing initiatives
• Serve as point of contact with external resources, such as designers, printers, trade show personal, media representatives, as well as internal resources, as appropriate, to develop marketing materials.
• Maintain website layout and content, with assistance from external administrator
• Organize annual trade shows in the USA and Canada
• Write and publish press releases related to any marketing communications related activity
• Support the development, execution, and evaluation of marketing plans, which may include direct mail, advertising, website, and market research materials
• Respond to customer’s queries and comments on social media and networking.
• Gather customer feedback to inform sales and product teams.
• Serve as a brand ambassador, working together with the cross-functional team to ensure marketing programs and materials align to and strengthen the global Roto brand.
• Advertise our company and products/services on various media

Marketing Communications Requirements:

• 2+ years of related experience (e.g. marketing communications, branding, campaign execution, content marketing, digital marketing)
• B.S. Degree, preferably in Business, Communications, Advertising or Business/Marketing
• Strong communicator with experience working with cross-functional teams, both directly and remotely
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Strong skills in Microsoft office tools
• Demonstrated ability in start-to-finish project management
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with ability to multitask and manage priorities
• Highly motivated and results-driven, with ability to work independently and through effective lateral influencing to achieved desired outcomes
• Ability to perform exceptionally in fast-paced, performance-oriented environment
• Experience with marketing campaigns on social media
• Able to quickly learn and understand new concepts, tools and markets
• Comfort and maturity to work with executive leadership
