Job Description

We are a disabled veteran non-profit developing fundraising events in the motorsports vertical. We are looking for a social media coordinator to develop and curate content for our social media channels.

The content areas are: 1) amateur motorsports - SCCA, NASA, autocross, time trial events, road rallies; as well as articles related to veteran health and fitness.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute a results-driven social media strategy.
  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.
  • Create and edit written, video, and photo content.
  • Attend events and produce live social media content.
  • Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
  • Create a social media calendar.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
  • Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.

The social media coordinator will work directly for and with the founder/CEO.

The estimated time requirement is 5-7 hours per week. The job can be done remotely.

Preference given to disabled veterans.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
This is a fully remote job with daily coordination using Zoom.

Education:

  • Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Social Media Management: 2 years (Required)
  • Marketing: 1 year (Preferred)
