Program Overview:
The Market Sales Leader Internship Program is a comprehensive,10-week program that provides exposure into one of Campbell's leading growth initiative focused on the sales, engagement of retail partners, and Independent DSD Partners (IDPs). Our program will enable you to accelerate your knowledge of our organization, provide you with a solid and foundational understanding of: leadership skills, sales strategy, retail development, product distribution, merchandising, and the importance of managing relationships with key stakeholders to drive results.
During your internship, we will provide a combination of hands-on experiences and direct learning to help you grow and develop as a field sales professional. You will learn first-hand how important the Field Sales Execution team is to our Campbell Snacks growth and more specifically how critical the role of Market Sales Leader is.
Program Location:
Program is field based, where you will be assigned to work with a team in the Miami Metropolitan Area.

Example Learning Objectives
Introduction to our Business Essentials Suite of Apps (My Day, Map, and My Plan) and how to effectively use these tools to enhance your selling abilities.
Basic knowledge of how weekly activities should focus on revenue production and reaching sales growth goals
How to build relationships with external and internal partners such as our Independent DSD Partners and retail account management teams.
Understanding the link between the "when, where & how" of promotional events and your selling success.
Acquainting yourself with the daily routine of an MSL and the Independent DSD Partners you will support
How to conduct effective Joint Business Meetings and Route Consults with Independent DSD Partners that equate to positive equity build
Understand best practices and how looking for opportunities in the market help to build equity
Learn more about the concepts such as "points of interruption, merchandising, point of sale, compression selling, must-stocks, and service standards"
What we require of candidates:
Applicants must be lawfully authorized to work in the U.S.
Full-time Student, enrolled in a 4 Year degree Business Management or related program with and expected graduation between: Fall 2021 or Spring 2022
Self-starter with ability to multi-task and take initiative
Strong written and verbal communication
Strong problem-solving, technical, and analytical skills
Experience with technology and ability to learn iPad business applications
Agile learner with demonstrated self-awareness and flexibility
Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
Willingness to relocate for future opportunities
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
Must be open to relocate for potential Full-Time opportunities
As this is a field sales management positions, you will be required to stand, walk, sit, and taste, or smell.
The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Travel Required
Must be able to travel within district, to company meetings, company training and other regions as business needs demand.
