Market Research Surveyor

The Market Research Surveyor position is responsible for conducting surveys of summer guests in various locations around Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands and Snowmass. Surveys will be administered using tablets and generally take less than ten minutes to conduct. There are several different surveys to be completed throughout the day, and a certain quota to be met. Surveys are conducted both indoors and outdoors.

• Meeting and greeting guests as the survey taker approaches them
• Proactively seek out guests in a manner to ensure random sampling of guests
• Must be confident and comfortable approaching and speaking with all demographics
• Develop and follow a sampling plan to ensure a random cross section of guests
• Complete and input surveys in a timely manner using tablet
• Complete a specified number of surveys in a designated time in a variety of locations
• Ensure surveys are uploaded in a timely fashion
• Be able to answer questions and offer information about the resort and surrounding area
• Know and support ASC’s Guiding Principles
• Actively work to minimize environmental impacts
• Other duties as assigned

• 
  Prefer college degree
• Previous experience in the guest service industry
• General knowledge of the resort and area
• Comfortable using tablets and associated software

Supervision given and received
Supervision given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Supervision received. Works under direct supervision of Marketing Research Assistant Manager. Tasks are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently. Instruction, advice and assistance are readily available
Work Environment and physical demands
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand or be on your feet, kneel and bend for extended periods of time
Regularly work in adverse conditions and required to use protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials as well as an office environment and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
