Summary
Responsible for set-up, trouble-shooting and monitoring of equipment in Production, Pilot Plant, and Test Lab. Support basic equipment qualification, maintenance and calibration activities with record keeping.
Functional DescriptionPerforms functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set–up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on–line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments. Functional/Business Knowledge- Moderate understanding of general job aspects and some understanding of the detailed aspects of the job.
- Applies acquired job and company knowledge of policies and procedures to complete semi-routine tasks.
- Work at this level requires following standardized methods and under immediate supervision on assignments that are semi-routine in nature.
- Follows pre-established guidelines and procedures with minimal choice as to method of performance of the work.
