Job Description:

Performs moderate to complex functions associated with a variety of manufacturing or operations areas. Utilizes a comprehensive knowledge of operations principles and skilled experience to performs duties that may include but are not limited to: working with engineers or blue prints, process sheets and sketches to perform set-up and calibration tasks; performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies; using sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment; assisting with tests and experiments as directed. May assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. May develop and train less experienced staff. May operate and perform maintenance on equipment. May develop processing schedules for related operations.
