Job Description

· Clean the Process Rooms (Blending Room or Compression Room) according to the standard operating procedures (SOP) for swabbing when required or for release of the rooms.

· Perform pharmacy activity after the Process Room (Blending Room) is released.

· Start the blending process following the step of the batch record. Do partial clean if it is necessary to start a new process for the next batch.

· Operate the compression Machines when it is required by the Manufacturing Supervisor.

o Assemble and disassemble the compression machine parts when cleaning is required.

o Perform start-up.

o Record the reading of the weight and hardness of product every 30 mm.

o Package the compressed tablets in 12X12X12 boxes until the batch is finished.

· Put the boxes on a pallet for wrapping.

· Keep the manufacturing area clean at all times. Including the measured equipment.

· Help warehouse staff to move the raw material and other items when is necessary.

  • Weigh and sample manufactured batches in accordance with applicable SOPs.
  • Performs scheduled manufacturing activities in accordance with approved batch records.
  • Performs appropriate in-process tests of manufactured products during the manufacturing process.
  • Provides appropriate documentation of manufacturing processes and test results including maintaining and reconciling equipment and room use logbooks, batch records, and inventory records in accordance with SOPs.
  • Performs appropriate cleaning of equipment and the facility in accordance with SOPs and cGMP procedures.
  • Troubleshoots equipment/processes during the manufacturing process.

· Provides active or general support in all aspects of company related tasks.

KNOWLEDGE NECESSARY TO PERFORM THE JOB:

  • Moderate knowledge of cGMP practices required.
  • Moderate knowledge of operation of technical equipment required.
  • Knowledge of processes related to the production of solid dose pharmaceutical manufacturing REQUIRED.
  • Knowledge of process related to the production of liquid dose pharmaceutical manufacturing required.
  • Knowledge of electronic data acquisitions systems to include ADP, Documentum, and Form Weigh.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
