PURPOSE/GOALSManage safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance of manufacturing facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide strategic direction and coaching for assigned leadership team.
• Ensure continuous improvement of safety culture.
• Ensure optimal quality and delivery service to exceed customer expectations.
• Manage labor costs and expenses to meet budget expectations.
• Execute new product introductions and product modifications to support business strategy.
• Report performance metrics monthly.
• Manage and change employee behavior, performance and attitude as required to meet goals: Includes staffing, development and discharge (when necessary).
• Mentor and develop potential future leaders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTSEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline required. Experience: Minimum of five years’ experience in manufacturing; and three years progressive leadership responsibility.
Skills/Abilities

• Comprehensive knowledge of behavioral change methods and personnel management.
• Thorough knowledge of lean manufacturing and quality systems.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

• Position requires light travel (less than 10%).
