Overview
The Manager of Strategy is the dedicated client support for a reimbursement and/or market access program. S/he is responsible for maintaining an effective business relationship & ensuring program success. This position works closely with Program team/NBD, Client Lead, internal/external Operations, and Client Marketing/Strategy/Analytics to strengthen client relationship, achieve outstanding program satisfaction and establish Syneos Health as a preferred vendor.
Responsibilities
S/he ensures that services & strategic solutions are proposed and delivered effectively. S/he applies extensive and in-depth knowledge of the healthcare marketplace to guide access & reimbursement program strategy, design, implementation, and daily operations by providing subject matter expertise. S/he will use data and field intelligence to aggregate issues & opportunities and identify program solutions. S/he bridges the gap between client and Syneos Health program operations (analytics, training, program design, and business recommendations/development) to ensure market access program meets the client’s goals.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with the client on clarity of program deliverables, client provided requirements, and risks & potential opportunities associated with solutions
- Responsible for ensuring CRM delivers on field and client needs (if applicable) AND optimal field effectiveness
- Provide consulting support to program management to ensure teams meet client program strategic priorities, goals, and metrics.
- Manage program(s) metric definition, tracking, and reporting/dashboard delivery
- Deliver team impact analysis/program ROI, ensure program(s) meet performance expectations/SLA and identify opportunities to improve field effectiveness
- Analyze program and market trends to capitalize on opportunities and provide solutions to upcoming challenges
- Use Business Acumen to assist clients in development of strategic direction and implementation of tactics
- Build & Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements, laws, and guidelines that relate to commercial or regulatory programs to support client initiatives
- Support development and delivery of compliant training materials
- Lead planning of business review processes, in partnership internal & external partners to ensure that immediate client expectations are met as well as aligned with long term client strategy
- Through client engagements identify potential new opportunities or field strategy and coordinate with management and business development appropriately
- Work with client and program management to understand the objectives and the scope of any proposed program enhancements and is able to translate customer expectations and requirements to internal, cross functional delivery teams
Job Requirements
Along with a results-oriented mindset, self assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
- Ability to work in the US. Ability to travel to client site as needed
- Successful Completion of Background Review
- Valid driver’s license
Must Have Experience:
- Technical Skills: Dashboard Development & Analytics with Business Intelligence Tool [Advanced BI Tool Experience, SQL]
- Advanced Excel and Analytical Skills
- Managing data from various sources
- Business planning and market analysis
- Experience defining program metrics / team management
- Experience analyzing CRM data
- Experience working with & presenting to Senior/Executive Level associates
- Strong oral, written, and group communication skills, working with and presenting to Director Level & above associates
- Achieves business goals ethically and within company compliance
- Digital Marketing and Analytics experience preferred
- Working in Pharmaceutical / HealthCare Industry preferred
- Field Based Reimbursement, Managed Markets, or access/patient services
- Biotech or Specialty experience [injectable or buy & bill]
- Field Team/Access Operations Experience Biotech or Specialty Products
- Field Territory Development & Optimization Analysis
- Hospital or Payer Analytics
