Manager, Software Solutions Specialist – SAP FICO/Accounts Receivable Specialist

Work you’ll doAs the FICO/ Accounts Receivable Specialist you will be the go-to person for any issues or items around Accounts Receivable and Cash Applications and will lead deployment discussions and activities. Subject matter areas of expertise include: Configuration, Implementation and/or support of the following:
  • Dunning Letter functionality
  • AR/Misc. Invoice processing
  • Customer statements functionality
  • Collections management
  • Disputes management
  • FSCM
  • Subscriptions billing (For example with the Zuora Application)
  • Cash management and clearing
  • Bad debts provisioning and Write off process
  • Configuration, Implementation of EDI, IDOC, DME, BILLER DIRECT and LOCKBOX processes
  • Accounts Receivable Reporting
  • Execute complex build activities, integrate designs across multiple technologies and projects.
  • Understand clients’ business requirements and converting the same into systems fulfilling business needs.
  • Design and manage a complex system testing environment. Confirm supportability of implementation plans.
  • Assist client with configuration of design decisions. Participate in client meetings and drive customer interactions on subject matter expertise as appropriate.
  • Monitor compliance to standardized procedures and best practices and create new policies and processes as needed.
  • Oversee complex decisions and make recommendations to customers/clients.
  • Provide leadership with regular status updates and potential issues.
  • Work with offshore Technical Delivery Manager(s) to optimize the development resource model.
  • Promote effective teamwork and spirit of partnership.

Deloitte Application Studios (DAS)Deloitte Application Studios (DAS) is the internal software and applications development team responsible for delivering leading-edge technologies to Deloitte professionals. Their broad portfolio includes web and mobile productivity tools which empower our people to log expenses, enter timesheets, book travel and more, anywhere, anytime. DAS enables our client service professionals through a comprehensive suite of applications across the business lines. In addition to application delivery, DAS offers full-scale design services, a robust mobile portfolio, cutting-edge analytics, and innovative custom development.
Qualifications
  • Extensive functional and technical implementation experience with SAP/S4 FICO products/functionality
  • Advanced configuration and design skills in the architecture of enterprise solutions;
  • Significant experience in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines;
  • Superior problem-solving skills and strong written communication, leadership discussion and public speaking skills;
  • Adept at implementing software change management processes and governance for technology-enabled business solutions;
  • Advanced proficiency in software development lifecycle methodologies (i.e. Waterfall, Safe Agile, Kanban);

Requirements:
  • Minimum of five (8) years of in-depth and directly related experience in SAP, solutions design, and delivery of enterprise level solutions is required. Demonstrated experience in full life-cycle SAP implementation and development methodologies, Safe agile project delivery is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of sound node level knowledge of the IMG configuration for FICO functionality for any combination of the following: Organization structure, Financial accounting Global settings, New G/L, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, CO-Cost center accounting, CO-Profit center accounting, CO-Internal orders and profitability analysis.
  • Knowledge of Treasury functionalities will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to adjust communications to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience providing direct consultation to clients using strong analytical abilities and presentation skills.
  • Experience in successfully handling multiple projects and cross-functional teams, and ability to coordinate across teams in a large matrix organization.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications relating to Finance and Accounting.
  • Advanced MS Office skills
