This role represents a unique opportunity to work in the digital space and be part of building a roadmap for the newly created Consumer Banking business. The role will focus on building robust controls foundation early on and other strategic initiatives on the Banking roadmap.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Program Office for new product launches, features, & functionality while partnership with a cross-functional team
- Play a lead role in coordinating the Consumer Banking organization through regulatory, legal, compliance, controls & privacy reviews & approvals including:
- Support development of Process Risk Self Assessments for new products and ongoing management.
- Support Program Office activities for issue management, corrective actions, and operational risk events.
- Support requirements related to audit and regulatory exams.
- Prepare holistic updates on controls status across products and workstreams for the Head of Consumer Banking business.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate business alignment.
- Anticipate and surface project risks and ensure that appropriate mitigation planning is in place to avoid compromising delivery.
- Incumbent will partner with a cross functional team – Product Heads, Digital teams, Operational Excellence, Audit, Regulatory affairs, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Desire to work on dynamic, innovative, and evolving initiatives in the digital banking space
- Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across internal and external teams
- Exceptional skill in driving results against aggressive timelines and managing multiple priorities.
- Exceptional program management skills to deliver a robust controls environment and project governance.
- Ability to translate business requirements to cross functional teams.
- Experience in program management, operational risk, control, and compliance preferred.
- Experience in banking space is a plus.
- Self-starter with ability to drive results.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Masters or other advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
