Job Description
Description:The Manager of Parts and Inventory:
Oversees the Materials warehouse and terminal operations.
Manager oversees the Tooling coordinators & Materials Clerks and accomplishes receiving of aircraft parts and tooling and the distribution of such.
Essential Responsibilities:
Oversee proper storage and security of Company materials and assets at their assigned Cities, to include, but not limited to, onsite and offsite warehouse storage facilities
Responsible for the inventory accuracy of the materials residing in the Maintenance and Engineering (M&E) System
Responsible for the shipping, receiving and processing of all materials with the control of the facilities to ensure accuracy using the inventory management systems
Work with Planning, Procurement and Maintenance departments for heavy checks and line checks to ensure parts and materials are flowing through; ensures accuracy of the process and of the inventory
Train Team Members to perform their prescribed duties, to include documentation within the M&E system
Train Team Members to handle and oversee hazardous materials, to include packaging, labeling, documentation and file retention as proscribed by International Air Transport (IAT)
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
Five (5) years airline Materials management experience
Two (2) years supervisory experience
Valid Passport with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
Possess and maintain a valid Driver License
Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge

Required Skills: Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Aviation Management
Valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
