The Market Research Manager, DEI Institute, will serve as a as an in-depth subject matter expert, leveraging information resources and effective search strategies to support the Institute's mission to pursue sustained equity and belonging for all. The Market Research Manager will be part of the DEI Institute team and will report directly to the Institute's Senior Manager.

Specifically, the role will focus on:


  • Developing and overseeing DEI-related research and analysis on specific topics and issues and helps translate market trends and opportunities.
  • Supporting the development and execution of various market-facing and thought leadership points-of-view.
  • Preparing written communications, leveraging research findings, for eminence marketing and deployment.
  • Leading and developing timely reports with narrative analysis for presentation to both internal and external groups.
  • Utilizing market research methods such as primary and secondary data collection, quantitative and forecast modeling, qualitative analysis, scenario development and evaluation, and research report writing to make predictions, recommendations, and develop eminence articles and reports related to DEI.
  • Reviewing, selecting, and synthesizing relevant information to create visually compelling presentations that simplify the communication of complex information and enhance comprehension.
  • Managing data quality, planning and leading research activities, and supporting senior leadership.

The individual selected for this assignment must be passionate and enthusiastic about DEI and its mission, and must be able to build strong relationships and collaborate across multiple teams.

The team

Under the direction of the Chief DEI Officer, this role will work directly with Deloitte's DEI Institute leaders, team and collaborators to strengthen Deloitte's DEI brand and impact externally.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Minimum of 7 years of research or related experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Technical, analytic, and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of project management and how to use a wide variety of research databases
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:
  • Knowledge and previous work experience in the DEI space

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95070 to $175080.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
