Your Opportunity
As part of the Global Data Engineering Team @Walmart Labs, you’ll have the opportunity to make a difference by being a part of Support and Development team that helps in building best shopping experience for Walmart Customers at our Stores and online. Here you are also required to continuously innovate to lower the development cost, provide greater value to the business and provide best experience to our Business partners and Customers.
Your Responsibility
Understand, plan, and deliver product requirements scoped by product engineering owners
Assess team agility maturity and implement appropriate Agile practices— Scrum, Kanban and Scrumban to continuously improve agile ways of working.
Plan and manage multiple projects in parallel by coordinating with cross functional teams (Product Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Platforms —Hadoop Platform, Data platform) spread across geographies.
Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution within agile team.
Adhere to agile maturity goals defined by the engineering leadership team.
Manage Agile Ceremonies – Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives etc
Define, monitor, and improve critical to success metrics (e.g., timely and predictable delivery, Release velocity, Product quality, Product scope, Value addition to customers and business, team performance) for the success of the projects.
Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across cross-functional teams with competing priorities.
Anticipate and proactively clear bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
Provide and support the implementation of business solutions and project-related operations to project teams

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years’ overall work experience in IT related industry
2+ years’ experience as a scrum master or Technical program management in product development life cycle
Capable of managing numerous stakeholders, anticipating their needs, and gaining alignment for strategies from executive level stakeholders
Strong communication skills (oral, verbal and listening) as well as the ability to influence key decision makers and understand their points of view
Strong leadership, negotiation, and execution skills with the ability to drive results, deliver and excel, and own it when you don’t
Experience in practicing agile methodologies – Scrum, Kanban, and Scrumban
Proficiency in using tools such as Jira Board, Confluence
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certification in Business Project Management or Project Management Professional
Preferred: Project Management experience in Data Analytics domain
