Responsibilities:
- Oversee HR Service Center team which is the first point of contact for HR related questions from Atrium Wake Forest Baptist employees
- HR Service Center is part of the larger HR Shared Service organization and is responsible for a wide array of HR program support and HRIS data support
- Builds a culture of continuous improvement within the team through the definition of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process flows.
- Coach, mentor, inspire, motivate team members to develop talent and build operational excellence
- Build partnerships and solicit feedback from internal business partners and stakeholders to define and develop flexible, automated and scalable processes and practices
- Ensures that a high level of customer service delivery is provided for each responsibility area, through customer service training, understanding customer needs, establishing standards of performance and ensuring delivery of service is effective and efficient
- Maximize the effectiveness of technologies, model business processes and KPI data to drive continuous improvement
- Manages workflow priorities that include call triaging and escalation, staff schedules and quality of service monitoring
- Manages the data entry process with in the HCM tool ensuring accurate and timely entry and/or approval of data transactions. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by proactively running queries and analyzing data
- Manages complex issues and escalations in the areas of benefits, absence management, time, performance management, compensation, payroll, etc.
- Cooperate, standardize, and establish best practice across other Atrium HR Service Centers
- Participate in initiatives and projects as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related discipline.
- Three or more years of experience supervising an HR shared service center
- Experience in process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills and ability to influence
- Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Hands on, self-motivated, organized, multi-tasker, committed to excellence
- HR information systems experience – such as Workday, SAP, Oracle
