Manager, Human Resources (HR) Shared Services - Compliance

Key Role Description:

This role will lead all efforts related to Talent-specific compliance activities surrounding the Talent record retention and destruction policy, and more. Serve as point of contact for these activities and work with specialists and others to ensure all activities are completed in a timely and compliant manner. This role will interact with other areas of Talent for all record related subjects, as well as with Records Management Services (RMS), Talent Risk, and the Office of General Counsel. Potential candidates must be knowledgeable on these areas and work to ensure immediate resolution on all items.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and execute on all Talent records management related matters
  • Develop and manage processes to optimize efficiency and quality
  • Lead records management project initiatives, project execution, resource deployment, and overall leadership and coordination efforts to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Provide insight, strategic context, direction, and leadership to RMS and other professionals involved in assigned areas of responsibility for Talent records.
  • Provide guidance to Talent Record Stakeholders on Talent official and transient records, including supporting Talent Risk with the Talent Confidential Information Management Plan (CIMP).
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with internal clients and stakeholders - Office of General Counsel, Office of Confidentiality & Privacy, Information Technology Services, Talent Risk, RMS etc.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for applicable record processes, work autonomously and partner with appropriate stakeholders to understand and address highly complex record related challenges and issues.
  • Use knowledge to identify trends. Develop, implement, and enhance Talent records related processes.
  • Provide effective communication and follow-through while acting as a dependable and responsive point of contact for practitioners and leadership within and outside of Talent.
  • Team with the Compliance team on Talent privacy efforts, including annual Safe Harbor Recertification, and providing subject matter expertise as it relates to Talent record keeping.
  • Develop and present communication materials appropriate for audiences including, but not limited to, RMS team members, One Team/Office Experience professionals, business leaders, records system users, and other business stakeholders.
  • Manage and direct ELE team members supporting the applicable activities. Provides coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to others on program / project teams.
  • Develop the skills and capabilities of the US and USI Compliance team members in this subject matter.
  • Take part in special project assignments to develop world class processes and tools for Talent Services ELE and overall Talent Services.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Microsoft Office; HR system experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 8-10 years Human Resource or related experience
  • Ability to manage complex projects with virtual teams
  • Creative problem-solving skills; strategic and takes initiative
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations in professional manner
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
