The Manager, Global Career Development collaborates with The Wasserman Center for Career Development, the Office of Global Programs, global site staff, the Office of Global Services, faculty and School representatives, and the Director for Global Career Development to provide direction and strategic planning for global career development initiatives and programs across the University. The Manager oversees matters related to students seeking employment abroad. This position works in conjunction with unit leaders and on University-wide committees to develop tools, resources, staff trainings, and perform related tasks that support the career development of students across all NYU global sites as well as those interested in studying and/or working outside the US. Exposure to study abroad or global programs is preferred.Qualifications: Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in Higher Education, International Education, Counseling or related field
Required Experience:
5+ years of relevant experience including career development/counseling, experiential learning, and/or program management required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in an academic environment and with international, other experiential learning programs or study abroad is prefered.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including university partners/vendors; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and student information systems; excellent oral and written presentation skills
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
