Manager (Electrical Division)
Seeking Manager for our Electrical Division that specializes in Air Field controls and lighting, traffic signal systems, highway lighting, low and high voltage lines, fiber installations, and other miscellaneous electrical projects. This is an upper management position.
Primary Responsibilities- Develop client relationships in pursuit of upcoming and continuing
- Develop relationships with potential subcontractors for furthering our sales in the area with the appropriate markup for the appropriate type of
- Develop a team that is both goal orientated and customer driven, communication is the goal
- Review personnel needs with your staff and develop a hiring process to ensure staffing is appropriate for our work
- Communicate effectively with your staff to insure that common goals are met and stress that all are part of your
- Review supervisors periodically for performance and recommend what compensation adjustments should be made and assist supervisors to complete the same for their
- Maintain a pulse of regional work trends and inform senior management on a regular basis of suchtrends.
- Review profit and losses for the area and assist senior management as to the path of profitable work and what applicable work type should
- Know and keep track of what and where Strata's assets are for your Remind personnel that proper care is needed to maintain them.
- Ensure that before starting work for a customer, all applicable credit info and limits have been established by corporate office
- Review and coordinate with the office staff for timely submission of pay Our company runs on cash flow. Negotiate payment terms with the owner in favor of Strata.
- Monitor operations and provide input to field personnel as to limit Strata liabilities and maintain the utmostsafety possible for our workers, clients, and the public.
- Verify and authorize payments to suppliers and
- Provide input to estimators and when applicable review, evaluate, and price the work Monitor ongoing pricing to that of our competitors and market conditions for input on future pricing.
- Assist estimator, office administration, and field operations for project phasing and breakdown to insure accurate job costing and revenue
- Work with Contract Administrator to issue subcontracts to our subcontractors to ensure they are in place and, this being complete and executed, prior to work starting along with applicable insurance and
- Work with office staff to insure all applicable O.'s, contracts, master service agreements, etc. are received and executed prior to starting work on a project.
- Maintain a daily diary to assist office staff with questions regarding daily progression or other
- Review accounts receivable and invoicing with our office staff to insure on time billing and collections are
- Review Superintendent daily quantities for proper billing and project
- Review and communicate on upcoming potential work for its fit within your area and/or possible other Strata
- Assist unit business managers in developing a regional budget for your area using historical data along with anticipated
- Overall coordination with the areas operational managers to insure the operation is run
- Review Strata assets (equipment) as to maximize production and determine use of each specific piece with your supervisors and make adjustments where
- Coordinate with any local municipalities that may be affected by our work and insure all appropriate measures are completed and documented prior to starting
- Work with Strata's support division to insure timely repairs of resources whenever Coordinate with our Equipment Manager for rental pieces and needed Strata resources.
- Be familiar with plans and type of work that groups in your area are
- Work with staff to insure Strata facilities are clean and Remind and assist your team to keep job sites are kept clean and organized.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, construction management or other related
- A minimum of 10 years management experience in electrical construction
- Must effectively communicate with staff, clients and potential
- Must be an effective manager of a diverse work
Must be familiar with managing a large fleet of electrical equipment and trucking fleet.
Compensation:Compensation package is dependent upon qualifications and experience
Must possess current valid driver license and pass pre-employment drug testing and background check.
