Vendor Management: Provide leadership and direction, to develop a consistent and reliable vendor management process including but not limited to:
- Maintain the SPS Commerce relationship and manage vendor EDI onboarding
- Liaison with IT on technical components of EDI and make sure our mapping is up to date and maintained accurately
- Track, report and communicate any vendor issues related to each EDI transactions to merchandising and the vendor
- Maintain the SBH vendor compliance guide. Work cross functionally with supply chain/distribution, AP and Merchandising make sure it is all encompassing
New Store Process: Drive the process for New Store forecasting, reporting and analysis:
- Work with the vendor community and Store Operations team on New/Relo/Closing store process and inventory availability
- In partnership with Store Operations and Merchandising, manage the store bulk order process and determine best path going forward
P&A Reporting: Lead consistency in P&A reporting development:
- Develop a standard suite of weekly KPI reports for the P&A organization
- Work cross-functionally with team on consistent reporting, analysis and visibility
- Ensure timely delivery of any needed ad-hoc reporting request from Merchandising leadership

Responsibilities:
- Planning and Allocation representative for vendor compliance strategies and standards. Responsibilities include but are not limited to vendor scorecarding, EDI onboarding and issue resolution. Manage working with the right people/teams on vendor reported issues such as: vendor number, item, allowance issues. Work cross functionally with supply chain/distribution, AP and Merchandising regarding vendor compliance and offset management.
- Drive the new store planning process. Work with dedicated New store analyst and Store Operations on needs and process. Provide leadership and direction to the team on consistent, repeatable cadence for review and cross-communication. Understand and manage connectivity with upcoming JDA implementation.
- Drive consistent process and reporting across Planning and Allocation. Work with associate dedicated to reporting to strategize opportunities to streamline analysis and communication in a fluid environment.
- College degree (BA or BS)
- 5+ years’ experience in inventory management, with experience in managing a budget for sales, margin and inventory.
- Retail or consumer goods industry experience preferred
- EDI experience preferred
- JDA experience preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to plan, forecast, and exercise sound judgment.
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional math ability
- Management experience - preferred
