Job Description
Overview:POSITION SUMMARY:
The incumbent in this position is responsible for all activities pertaining to regulatory compliance and loss prevention goals and objectives.Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:(These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position)

  • Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
  • Works closely with the Director of Regulatory Compliance to assure adherence with the Indiana Gaming Commission procedures, rules and regulations and ensures that the performance of the procedural operation is within stated guidelines and applicable state and Maintain compliance with all Title 31 regulations.
  • Responsible for the compliance and revision to the company Internal Controls Manual. Ensures operational policies and procedures are within stated guidelines of the Internal Controls and Indiana Gaming Commission rules and regulations.
  • Assures applicable operating departments transactions and functions are conducted properly and in adherence with approved system of Internal Controls.
  • Responsible for oversight, compliance and adherence to federal Title 31 Program requirements.
  • Coordinates with the various departments to report and submit findings, submit promotion and marketing programs and submit tournament programs to the IGC.
  • Coordinates with various departments on necessary business permits and required licenses. Recommends modifications to existing corporate compliance programs.
  • Coordinates departmental request for procedural changes in operation.
  • Review the daily Title 31 audit as completed by the AML Specialist and verify the accuracy and timely filing of all BSA forms (CTRs and SARs)
  • Responsible for assuring annual AML training for required positions are completed.
  • Reviews, analyzes, resolves and escalates Risk / Fraud related issues, managing resources, assigning tasks, duties and projects, while being available as a go-to representative for all departments.
  • Ensures departments are trained in the policies, procedures, and regulations and appropriately performs a series of reviews utilizing various tools and reports to identify potential fraudulent activities on new/existing member accounts.
  • Develop and support a Loss Prevention awareness culture through partnerships, ongoing communication, and training.
  • Partner with Inventory Control to review weekly cycle count reporting and research trends and identify potential theft issues.
  • Ensures all investigation actions are resolved in compliance with gaming regulations, integrity levels of the departments system and financial controls within the required timeframes.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned and adheres to all Indiana Gaming Regulations and Departmental Standard Operating Procedures.


NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Attend seminars when needed.
Qualifications:EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from four-year College or university; or one (1) or two (2) years’ related experience and/or training preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc):
  • Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Must successfully pass drug screening.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.

KNOWLEDGE OF:
  • Proficient in MS Office Computer applications.
  • Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Must be able to address stressful situation with guests with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness.

ABILITY TO:
  • Must be able to move about the facilities as part of duties, must be able to stand 20 % of shift, sit 55% of shift and walk 25% of shift.
