Manager, Business Human Resources
This Role in Summary:
As the Manager, Business HR for the Global Information Systems you will have the opportunity to work on a Global HR team to provide support to the Global Information Systems function. Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Strategically partner with regional and global business leaders to define and implement the People Excellence strategy in order to achieve business objectives. Supports the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) leader in developing and deploying strategic human resources programs and practices in order to drive greater organizational performance and effectiveness. In this role, you will have an opportunity to work with other global HRBP’s, HR Operations, regional HR business partners, and HR Communities of Expertise to lead and contribute to the following areas:
- Continue to support our global operating model by ensuring our capability strategy is best aligned with supporting our model
- Understand & continue to evolve the Global Information Systems (GIS) People Excellence strategy and ensure it is aligned to our global GIS business strategy
- Use data and insights to understand people challenges and drive appropriate actions with respect to engagement, retention, capability building, etc
- Coach and provide HR expertise to non-HR business leaders and the leadership team
- Drive robust talent development via our talent assessment processes including driving development action planning and ensuring robust succession planning
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of experience in Business Human Resources, Plant Human Resources, Operations, or Centers of Excellence (COE)
Preferred Skills and Experiences:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Industrial/Organizational Psychology
- Questioning mind with the ability to challenge the status quo
- Execute with speed and a sense of urgency. Has a good knowledge of current best practices
- Experience operating in a global organization or working in global teams
- Interpersonal skills and effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels and from various backgrounds
- Experience using data-driven insights and applying it to inform business decision making
- Experience with labor and employment law, organizational development, and best practices
