POSITION SUMMARY: Provides supervision, subject matter expertise and oversight of Social Work and Behavioral Health Staff. Performs assessments and provides counseling to patients and families for the treatment of emotional and psychosocial disorders.

Qualifications

Education:

Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.

Experience:

Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.

Licensure:

Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure

Current BLS Certification from the American Red Cross (HCA chosen provider) OR American Heart Association is required upon hire.

Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) required within 60 days of hire

Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
