As the Manager, Advanced Solutions Support you will be responsible for IT support and facilitation of standardized integrated solution offerings. This role will be responsible for clear definition and vetting of the IT portion of client solutions and design prior to final pricing submission and contract. This position will work closely with business development, account management, project management, engineering, pricing, and executive leadership. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Assist in developing and documenting full suite of solutions offering, mostly technical but be able to support the operational aspect when needed
- Tie IT needs of offerings to pricing structure
- Identify and solution emerging tech needs of clients, while strategically identifying opportunities to standardize
- Create clear, concise and thorough solutions scope documentation that can translate into training material, legal schedules, marketing material, etc.
- Communicate and advocate for solutions design both internally and externally to clients during client meetings or business development initiatives
- Lead client-facing discussions and solutions collaboration
- Tie solutions design to emerging industry trends and cutting-edge tech solutions
- Create and execute a process of scope management for tech portion of client solution design and implementation
- Integrate workflow with other key stakeholder processes, such as Go-no-Go, Client On-boarding, etc.
- Provide guidance, training and mentorship to employees on team
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 5 years technology implementation, solution design, consulting, sales or related experience, within the transportation or technology industry
- Advanced experience with Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience with integrations (EDI/API/XML/Other)
It’d be great if you also have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- PMP Certification
- Complex solution development experience, including technology and multi-modal
- Customer-facing solution or sales experience
- High degree of comfort and experience with change management
