Manager, Administrator & Billing:

POSITION PROFILE

Danella, Plymouth Meeting, PA based Utility Construction Company is in search of a self-directed and experienced Manager, Administration & Billing. The Company has an immediate opening for this position at our office Plymouth Meeting, PA. Extensive knowledge and experience in Billing, Process development and implementation. Demonstrate value analysis, timely billing within a complex & multi-facility state environment. Ability to assume responsibility for and direct the work of others. A highly organized individual is needed who can handle multiple projects with aggressive deadlines and prioritize workloads on an on-going basis.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The goal of this position is to develop the knowledge and experience required for successful performance in billing process, timely invoices to customers and manage the administrative assistant at various remote offices.

The Manager, Administration & Billing assists operations Managers in the administration of projects and services and assumes responsibility to manage the process for invoicing to customers. Is accountable for his/her own decisions and actions.

Assigns and distributes work to billing and administrative team members and provides appropriate instruction and direction to perform the work timely.

Ensures the timely processing of all work assigned to the billing & administrative team

Ensures the adherence of established policies and procedures by all team members and assigned by Company.

Provides input on the job performance of team members

In collaboration with department management, identifies all appropriate requirement of billing by customer and takes appropriate action to implement/access these procedures.

Reviews and analyzes jobs received, invoicing trends and utilization, and recommends practice changes to ensure we meet customer deadlines.

Works to identify opportunities for standardization and utilization management.

Works with all appropriate individuals and teams to identify services cost reduction initiatives. In addition, develops and maintains systems to measure progress and report on outcomes

Initiates and chairs appropriate ad hoc teams to address value analysis, invoicing implementation, and billing standardization/utilization initiatives

Meets regularly with operations & management leadership to receive direction and/or supervision and to maintain consistent and open communication on workload, progress on projects, problem resolution, exchange of ideas, etc.

Meets regularly with team members to, at a minimum, coordinate efforts, address problems and/or issues, provide training, improve service levels, and share information

Attends and actively participates in internal or external meetings by sharing appropriate information, identifying process improvements, and promoting a team environment

Provides relevant information to immediate supervisor(s) regarding status of projects by region

Other duties as assigned to support the division, department.

Minimum Requirements:

Required Experience and Education

Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Administration, Finance, or Accounting

5+ years support services experience in Administration Management in a complex integrated work

Previous project management, team leadership, or supervisory skills required

Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Ability to manage and execute projects timely, efficiently and cost effectively

Candidate should have strong leadership skills and be able to define and resolve critical issues

Required Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrated ability in using PC’s and Microsoft Office Suite

Working knowledge of construction terminology and/or services in assigned areas is desirable

Demonstrated experience and savings in the value analysis/cost containment principle and process

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
