P*osition Summary*
Provides Faculty Management support to collect, analyze, and evaluate faculty record data, and make sound recommendations based on findings. The Faculty Manager will interface directly with a variety of Medical Education and Training Campus (METC) program staff and Academic Affairs staff. The manager monitors, enforces and ensures compliance with CCAF and the College of Allied Health Sciences (CAHS) policies, procedures, and guidelines in order to maintain an institutional affiliation status in good standing. Inprocess and/or outprocess instructors. Establish procedures to add and remove new and/or returning instructors from 50 programs in STARS-FD within five duty days of arrival to the school or within five days of removal from instructor duty. Monitor and verify the completion of inprocessing paperwork, to include, reading and signing Policy, Procedure, and Guideline (PPG) and Air University acknowledgement page, Degree Completion Contract (DCC), Non-Degreed Instructor (NDI), and Instructor Qualification Worksheet (IQW). Review and document ITC and send to CCAF and CAHS for verification. Correspond with education service office to ensure degree contract are complete and signed. Ensure instructors are added and removed from STARS-FD base on monthly faculty trackers report. Respond to external and internal customer needs by researching records and files, contacting others to obtain and disseminate proper and accurate information. Ensure transcripts request, degree completion verification letters are sent to CCAF within 30 days of Date Assigned School (DAS). Maintain local CAHS instructor records and collaborate with CAHS faculty managers to ensure accurate records. Monitor instructors. Manage, track, and report instructional qualification in STARS-FD and METC instructor database. Provide monthly instructor status report to supervisor for distribution to Associate Dean of Academic Support, other METC leadership as requested and the Services. Manage, track, and report qualified/certified instructors by Service, and provide monthly report to supervisor in preparation for distribution to the METC leadership as requested and Services. Review Internship reports, Instructor evaluations, Non-Instructor Duty reports, Subject Matter Testing scores, Instructor Methodology, and Equal In Lieu of Degree (EQILD) reports. Ensure extension requests are prepared, accurate and submitted to the Academic Delivery Branch (ADB) one month prior to Date Assigned to Instructor Duty (DAID). Promulgate information to Department Chairs and Program Directors and monitors outcomes and feedback. Review Internship Reports, Instructor Evaluations, Non-Instructor Duty Reports, and Instructor Methodology. Track degree requirements quarterly for NDI instructors. Develop trackers to monitor instructors that are in jeopardy of failing to attain their degree requirements in accordance METC guidelines. Disseminate quarterly spreadsheet to Associate Dean on instructor qualification progress. Technical guidance. Provide metric and analyses system to the ADB monthly on NDI and NID status slides and reports. Provide briefs to the ADB on mission essential areas affecting METC’s ability to maintain qualified instructors. Coordinate with higher echelons; Army, Navy and Air Force educational activities and CCAF and CAHS to meet identified training needs. Review the qualification standard of over 1100 instructors on Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) roster reports quarterly. Provide weekly reports to Department Chairs and Program Directors on significant issues impacting their instructor qualifications. Trainer. Provide support services for the development of duties and the management of over 120 Faculty Point of Contacts (FAC POC) records in STARS-FD. Plan, coordinate and set the agenda for the FAC POCs during the monthly planning meetings. Provide monthly sessions on STARS-FD and training to ensure METC instructor qualification standards are met for the CCAF instructors, Non-CCAF instructors and CAHS instructors. Provide training at METC Familiarization to incoming personnel on instructor qualification standards. Assist Standards and Evaluation Branch (S&E) through, provide and apply leadership and team building and/or coaching skills and techniques, such as, group facilitation, coordination, problem solving, interpersonal communication, integration of work processes and products, and obtaining resources. Quality assurance. Study, analyze and develop methods to improve workflow and training problems while implementing improved methods and technology. Plan, coordinate and monitor the Faculty Management program’s progress. Evaluate the attrition rate of instructor’s place on NID status and recommend corrective action. Perform self-inspection and present detailed comprehensive report with any corrective action taken to supervisor. Follow-up to ensure complete and quality resolution of discrepancies and provide support services for the development or revision of policies and procedures as needed to find ways to improve quality, timeliness, and efficiency work. Respond to external and internal customer needs by researching records and files, and by contacting others to obtain and disseminate proper and accurate information. Perform various assignments as a member of S&E involving the execution of operational policies and procedures; and, examines concepts, policies, techniques, methods and their effectiveness to determine preferred courses of action for instructors at METC.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide support to the Faculty Manager for CCAF, Non CCAF and CAHS courses.
* Develop detailed processes to determine the effectiveness of current operational activities, examine problem areas, and develop solutions.
* Provide feedback to supervisor on complex matters and takes steps to resolve the problem.
* Serve as technical expert in instructional qualification records analyses.
* Establish priorities, plans, and schedules and conduct work to accomplish the mission.
* Inform superiors on changes in policy and any potential impact on the mission.
* Rely on analytical skills, to include mathematics and statistics, to plan and accomplish goals utilizing locally developed reporting tools and STARS-FD.
* Initiate and provide in-depth training on STARS-FD to METC faculty.
* Monthly report.

Educ*ation and Experience*
* Bachelor’s Degree
K*n*owledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Excellent written and oral communications and presentations skills and are capable of learning and utilizing current and emerging military and commercial technology.
* Knowledgeable of instructional techniques and training methodologies that will enable the development, implementation, evaluations, and revision of training programs.
* Basic knowledge of computer equipment and the assigned area of system software.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and able to incorporate programs to include Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.
T*r*aining Requirements: DHA/METC initial and annual training requirements, and comply with all DHA/METC policies, procedures, productivity standards and instructions as provided.

P*h*ysical Demands: Withstand prolonged periods of standing, ability to sit in meetings for long periods of time; ability to use personal computer for long periods of time. May occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Work Environment: Most of time spent in the classroom or laboratory setting. Some portion of time spent in an office setting. Some time may be spent interacting with employees and government personnel – military and civil servants.
